Primary three hosted an Irish food sale to raise money for our Lenten fundraiser and to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. It truly was a fantastic day. Thank you to all who donated and helped out with our sale – we’ve raised over £170 so far which is such a great achievement. Thank you also to our guests who came to the cultural cafe. The children really enjoyed learning all about Ireland and sharing their learning as well as trying new foods, storytelling and learning Irish poetry. Our visitors’ knowledge of Ireland was put to the test by our resident quizmasters but with a little help from the brainboxes, they successfully answered the questions! We were also delighted to be taught the Irish dancing quickstep and observe a fantastic performance from Miss Brownlie. All in all, a great success! Well done primary three! Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona daoibh ó P3!
