Welcome to St David’s Primary School
Zapraszamy do Szkoły Podstawowej św Dawida
St David’s Primary is a school on the North side of the city of Edinburgh. We currently have 2 nursery classes and 10 classes in the main school. Our school role is growing and is currently at 365.
St David’s is more than just a school building; it is a multicultural, friendly and inclusive environment where staff, pupils and parents strive to work together to create a positive learning environment.
Being a Rights Respecting School, we believe that every child has a right to an exceptional education in a safe, secure and happy environment.
At St David’s Primary School achievement is as important to us as attainment and we provide our pupils with a very rich and balanced curriculum across all areas. All pupils are encouraged to do and be the best they can be. Pupil voice is very important to us and this session all of our pupils from across the school are part of our St David’s Den’s. See more information about the Den’s from our top menu.
To support our Broad General Curriculum, we aim to place ICT at the core of St David’s Primary School, providing a range of technologies, capabilities and the creativity for transformative, lifelong learning. We therefore have a number of classes with 1:1 iPad’s to support learning within the classroom and at home. All classes have access to iPads and various forms of computer technology to motivate, inspire and engage our pupils.
On this site you can find out information about the learning taking place in each class. You can also find relevant documentation such as: the school’s Improvement plan, iPad documentation, information about uniform and term dates plus school lunch menus.
We hope you enjoy looking at our school website. See below for an iMovie created by the children showing you around the school.
