P3 Home Learning 5/10/20

Hello P3 children & families,

Here is this week’s home learning. You have your spelling, Number of the week and reading book as well as your learn its assignment. You can access this through Teams.

We have sent out instructions this week as a reminder of how to access Teams and a copy of your child’s login details again (inside their reading book). If you need help to access assignments please ask one of us or if you cannot access Teams on your device- let us know and we will provide a paper copy of the assignment (we are trying to do this as a last resort to limit items going between home and school due to the virus).

Remember you also have your October Grid- which you will find on the 28/9 Home Learning post below. Try and also log in to Sumdog to practise your mental maths skills- your login is in your Maths home learning jotter issued last week,

Have a great week and as always any questions please ask. We look forward to chatting to all the parents/carers over the phone this week for parents consultation week! Miss Barclay, Mrs Gracie & Mrs Parker.

P3 Home Learning 28.9.20

Hello, boys and girls and parents,

As we are still in different times with the pandemic, our home learning will be posted on Teams and the website every Monday for you to access. Your child will receive a home learning pack today, with a reading book, 2 jotters, instructions, sound cards for practise and Sumdog details. You will receive an additional individual Maths assignment through teams which you can complete online and return for your teacher to mark- if you cannot access Teams please let us know and we can provide this another way. The other learning should stay at home!!- the only thing we need returned will be your weekly reading book. We will post a learning grid every month with some additional tasks.

Here is October’s grid and this week’s tasks. Have fun and any questions please get in touch, Miss Barclay, Mrs Gracie & Mrs Parker X

Health & Wellbeing in P3

Both Primary 3 classes read the story Ruby’s Worry by Tom Percival. We talked about what we can do if we have a worry and discussed who we can share them with. We drew a picture of Ruby’s Worry and we made worry dolls that fit in our pocket that we could take home.

P3 Meet the Teacher 2020

Dear Primary 3 parents,

Currently we are unable to invite you in to see the classrooms and to have a chat so we have made a short video and some slides with key information that we would have normally shared with you in person.

All the children are settling back in really well and we hope this gives you an insight into how this year will be and you can see which adults will be working with your child. We are thrilled to be part of your child’s learning journey this year.

Miss Barclay (P3A) & Mrs Gracie & Mrs Parker (P3B)
