P4 Home Learning 4.10.21

Hi P4a & P4b

Home Learning will be moving onto Teams this month but for the first few weeks until you all have ipads and passwords we will also post your HL Tasks here.

Each month you will have a Grid- Which tells you your weekly tasks (Reading, Spelling & Maths) and you can choose to do some of the blue box tasks if you wish.

Please complete tasks on Teams/in Jotters and take a photo and upload. Would also be good if you could share any cool HL tasks on our school twitter feed @saintdavidsrcps #P4HLTASKS

Need any help or any questions, just let us know, Miss Barclay & Mr Kurth.

P4 Home Learning 21/9/21

As explained in our video, Home Learning will be posted on Teams from October. Until then, for the next two weeks we will provide the children with paper copies of homework, which will focus on Literacy, Numeracy & HWB and a reading book/reading extract. This will ensure all children can access their homework tasks.

We will be sending home a Home Learning Jotter you can use to complete tasks like writing out spelling words etc. This is to stay at home and the children should share their work through teams using assignments and Home Learning page once they have their ipad.

Please speak with your child’s class teacher if you need more info or any help. The children will be taught in class how to use their ipad and MS teams over the next two weeks.

Look out for a jotter and this weeks homework which will be sent home on Tuesday.

Have a great long weekend, see you Tuesday.

Miss Barclay & Mr Kurth

P4 Meet the Teacher Video & Learning Leaflet

Dear Parents/Carers of P4,

See below our Learning Leaflet for the term which will let you see what your child’s learning will be focussed on. As we cannot invite you all in to class to share this info and say Hi in person, please click the link below to watch our Meet the Teacher video for this year.

We are more than happy to discuss any concerns and answer any questions and you can contact us via the school office by phone or email. The children are settling in well, our new classrooms are in a different part of the school which we are enjoying and they are already making great progress in their learning.

One change from the communication for P4a at start of term is that we will now have PE on a Thursday, not Tues/Wed.

Miss Barclay (P4a) & Mr Kurth (P4b)
