P6 had a great trip to Money on the Mound. They learnt how notes are made and forged, the history of money and made their own coin! This ties in well with enterprise, maths and history.

P6 girls to the football festival!
Some of the P6 girls went to a girls football festival on Friday – they learnt how to play, had some matches against other schools, got their faces painted (how cool!) and made smoothies.
P6 to Surgeons Hall
P6 had a great time learning about the human body and digestive system at Surgeons Hall. Not many photos as you aren’t allowed to in the museum – due to there being real human remains! Half the class did a workshop with the museum staff based on how our digestion works, the others came with me for a tour then they swapped. In the afternoon the children got to roam to different areas to explore more.
Don’t worry, be happy!
The boys and girls in P1 did an amazing job creating their very own Worry Monsters.
Spinning Songs Comes To An End
Unfortunately, the nursery Spinning Songs project has come to an end. This year the PM nursery children and P5
have been involved in an exciting project called Spinning Songs, linked with Scottish Opera. We have had the best time singing, learning songs, making friends, dancing, making and becoming famous when our video was played to hundreds of people at the festival theatre! We loved singing with and meeting the residents of Brockwell court Retirement Home. The end of the project brought us all together for a big tea party involving the nursery, P5, the spinning staff and the residents of Brockwell court. Well done everybody!!
