The Empowered Learning programme is a part of Edinburgh Council’s ambitious and inclusive education strategy, Edinburgh Learns for Life. This has given every school pupil from P6 to S6 in Edinburgh their own digital device as well as 1:5 Shared allocation iPads for pupils in P1-P5.

As well providing children with the opportunity for children to be creative and engaging in their learning, the Empowered Learning Programme also provides staff with additional learning opportunities to upskill themselves.

Agreements

Before the P6 and P7 iPads are sent home, Parents and Carers are asked to read the Home School and Responsible Use agreements with their child, and then sign and return these to their class teacher. If you have lost your paper copy and you need to take another look or reiterate the agreements with your child, you will find copies below.
