Edinburgh Food Project are a wonderful organisation who provide family supports across the city. Below you’ll find the address for their Pilton bank and other supports in and around Edinburgh


| Festive Period – Foodbanks and other services |
| During the festive period there will be some changes to the timings of Edinburgh Food Project foodbanks and those in our network. We have compiled a list of those open and their timings below. While this is not an extensive list, hopefully it can provide some useful signposting resources for your clients: Social Bite – A two-course meal and presents are available on both Christmas Eve (24 December) and Christmas Day (25 December) with options to sit in or takeaway open between 12pm – 4pm. Please note that providing details of attendance ahead of time is always appreciated but not mandatory. Soul Food Edinburgh – They are running hot, freshly prepared meals which are open to everyone with no referral needed from the 22nd, 23rd, 26th, 29th and 30th December. Samaritans – Their helpline remain open every day of the year providing a safe and non-judgemental space to be listened to for anyone wanting somebody to speak to. Crisis at Christmas – If someone is already a member, Crisis are providing essential services and companionship for people experiencing homelessness over the Christmas Period. |
