We decided today was the perfect day to release our butterflies so that they can continue their important adventure in our environment.

We made strawberry, blueberry and banana smoothies as part of health week. They were delicious! Thanks to Mr. Creaney and Miss Folan for organising a fantastic Health Week!
The children had so much fun learning all things science. We carried out lots of experiments such as the effects of popping candy in oil, water and vinegar and we also made gloop and playdough. We built helicopters and even tested them out against P1b. Our visitor from the University of Edinburgh showed us how to make and launch our very own rockets and the Scottish SPCA told us about the magnificent work they do on a daily basis. Thank you to Miss Wright for organising such a fun filled week.
We were the luckiest class in the world to get a visit from the Easter Bunny! He even left us some surprises and his ribbon! Some children said they could even see him in the distance!
The children worked so hard on their Easter Bonnets we just had to show them off to the school in our Easter bonnet parade!
