Primary 1B have been investigating materials as part of our IDL learning.  The photographs below show us creating the 3 different types of houses that the 3 Little Pigs built.

We have been investigating the different properties of materials and using the new vocabulary when sharing our learning with each other.

The children have thought about how they would design a toy car and we talked about why certain materials wouldn’t work.

Next we will be investigating natural and man made materials and their sources.
