P6 Week Beginning 18 May

Good morning P6.  I hope you all enjoyed the break yesterday and are ready for another week of work.  The response last week was brilliant. I am so pleased with the work you have all been doing and the effort you have made and cannot wait to see how you all do this week.  It was lovely to see more children join us on teams and again if you are in touch with other children in our class please encourage them to log on to teams.  If there are issues with IT let me know and I will try my best to help.  As usual I will post the work here and in the files section of teams.  The file named GRID will detail the work for the week and the other files contain worksheets.  Good luck everyone and stay safe and well.

Take care

School Uniform Day Friday 15th May

On Friday (Friday 15th May), St David’s will be joining schools in Edinburgh & across Scotland to celebrate School Uniform Day!

Just for fun instead of a dress down Friday we are having a dress in school uniform Friday! An opportunity for you to put on your school uniform, PE kit or school colours and remember even though we are apart just now we are all connected and in this together. We want our pupils to wear our colours or uniform with pride and know you are a big part of our wonderful school community.

Follow the school twitter for school uniform day info and our exciting school uniform picture quiz, featuring photos of some staff in their school uniforms a long time ago!  See the poster below with ideas for this Friday. Don’t forget to post your uniform pictures to twitter & teams this Friday #SchoolUniformDay

Stay safe,

Miss Barclay (P3 Teacher)

The daily maths work can be found here.

The last three worksheets are based on keeping ourselves safe on the internet , R.E. work on Our Lady and completing the work on the Scottish Wars of Independence.

Good luck everyone. If you are not on teams and need to contact me do so through Admin.

Week Beginning 4 May

Good morning P6. Welcome to another week working on teams and the website.  I am very pleased that so many of you have joined the conversation on teams.  If you are in touch with other children in our class please encourage them to log on.  If there are issues with IT let me know and I will try my best to help.

Here is the grid showing the tasks for the week.

The other downloads relate to the literacy work on the BFG, daily maths challenges, maths equations, work on VE day and work on article 7 of children’s rights.

Good luck with all the challenges this week. Friday is a holiday to celebrate VE day ( Victory in Europe Day). Make sure to listen to Newsround and find out more about this special day.

Take care
