After Miss Fraser showed the children a story about the gingerbread man on our smartboard a lot of interest in the story arose. Lots of the children wanted to try making them for themselves. Mrs Rafferty was doing snack this week so with the childrens help we made hundreds of gingerbread men for the nursery children, staff and the Macmillan Coffee Morning. Mrs Goodfellow and other members of the nursery team have also been busy making resources to complement this activity and bring in other areas of the curriculum to this valuable learning experience.
