Homework Grid 18.01.21

Hello Primary 4,

welcome back to our home learning week 2 🙂

Please remember that this learning grid is a guide and only do what you can. Make sure there is plenty of time in the day to play, talk, relax and have fun! Set aside 30 minutes to exercise each day if you can 🙂

We will have online sessions again this week on your class channel. Please check Miss Geoghegan and Miss Baeza timetables so you know the time we will be online.

We can’t wait to see all your work!

Homework Grid 11.01.21

Hello Primary 4 families,

Welcome back to school and home learning 🙂

We know that this is an unusual return to school again but we will work together to make it as much fun as possible. We have really missed you all! We are so excited to hear about what you have been up to and cannot wait to see your work.

Firstly, to get prepared for the next three weeks, we thought it might be a nice idea to try to set up a learning space/new school in your home. We can create a pretend school that we will go to for the next three weeks! This is not always easy to do but if you can find a space for this it may help us to feel like we are all at school together 🙂

You could do the following:
– What exciting name will you have for your new school?
– Can you design a logo for your new school?
– Decorate your learning space with pictures and posters to help you to learn.
– Draw up a timetable of what you will learn in school (use the learning grid and online teaching times!)
– What will your school rules be? Remember our Ready, Respectful and Safe and ASPIRE.
– Make sure to get out of your pjs each day when going to your new school!
– Set up a time to teach an adult or sibling about what you learned that day: “What has stuck with me today?”

Like before, we will post a Learning Grid each week to help you with your tasks. This will be on Teams and at the end of each post.

We hope to complete some teaching through Teams each week. Miss Geoghegan and Miss Baeza will have different times as some days we will be working in school. We will post this timetable later today for each class.

For today, we will like to invite you meet with your class on Teams at 10am on your class Online Teaching Live Teams Channel. We will have a catch up and Zones of Regulation check-in. We will invite you to attend and are so excited to see you!!

See you soon,
Miss Geoghegan and Miss Baeza x

Homework Grid 14.12.20

Hello Primary 4,

as both Primary 4 classes have worked so hard this week, we have decided not to add a literacy or maths task to homework this week. Keep going with the Advent Calendar and the choosing activities in the blue box.We have our Christmas Lunch tomorrow and our Class Party on Thursday. Please feel free to wear some party clothes on both days!

We really enjoyed a pantomime on Jack and the Beanstalk in our classes yesterday 🙂. There will be no homework next week as we only have one and a half days.

Just to remind you that we finish at 12 on Tuesday 22nd December.

Thank you for a wonderful term and all your hard work,

Miss Geoghegan and Miss Baeza

Homework grid 7.12.20

Hello Primary 4 families,

We hope you had a lovely weekend!

Here is this weeks homework:
Literacy: We are going to continue with the same words as last week for our spelling. Please practice them by creating your own spelling activity like we do in class. For example, rainbow writing, hidden words, adding my words….

Maths: Please practice your timestables using this link like we do in class: https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/daily10. Choose Level 2 and then timestables of your choice!

We are slowing down with our work a little in the lead up to Christmas as you have all worked so hard.

Well done everyone, we are very proud of you all.
Miss Geoghegan and Miss Baeza

Thank you to both classes for such a wonderful effort in homework so far as we know it has been a challenge returning to school and getting back into our routines!
